We love bringing joy to our community at Christmas time, whether through Santa’s run and grotto, or decorating our fantastic Town! Our Christmas lighting contract is due for renewal and we want to hear your views on how the town should be decorated. Our Christmas decorations are the Town’s biggest expense each year, at a cost of roughly £15,000 in total. With this much money being spent, we want to make sure we get it right. That’s why we want your help! Please bear in mind that any time the Council needs to increase it’s budget, it directly affects the amount of Council Tax you pay. We are looking forward to reading your responses and using them to make an informed decision on our decorations. We will look to implement any changes over the 2023 and 2024 seasons. (For those who don't know, when completing the survey, Policeman's Bank is half way down the High Street, on the left hand side as you head to the marina and Brunel Quay, in between Jo the Barber's and Snack Shack. It's the area of grass behind the benches, Town noticeboard and bus stop.) Thanks for your help!
